“Show me Your Ways, Lord, teach me Your Paths. Guide me in Your Truth and teach me” Psalm 25:4-5
“My eyes are ever on The Lord, for only He will release my feet from the snare.” Psalm 25:15
In Psalm 25, King David tells us two traits of character that we must develop so that The Lord may show us His Way:
– Humility: The Lord shows His Way to the humble. So when we seek His Way, let us go to Him with humility, recognizing our smallness and His Greatness, our imperfection and His Perfection.
“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His Way.” Psalm 25:9
– Fear Of God: The Lord shows His Way to those who fear His name, so those who follow His commandments.
“All The Ways Of The Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep The Demands of His Covenant.” Psalm 25:10
” Who, then, are those who fear The Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.” Psalm 25:12
Let us read The Word Of God, learn to know His commands and follow them, so that The Lord can show us His Way.
“The Lord confides in those who fear Him; He makes His Covenant known to them.” Psalm 25:14
