““When The Son Of Man comes in His Glory, and all the Angels with Him, He will sit on His Glorious Throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.” Matthew 25:31-33

In Matthew 25, The Lord Jesus tells us that there are two categories of people:

– The sheep that will inherit Eternal Life
– And the goats that will go to eternal punishment

Each of us is either in one category or the other.
The sheep are those who follow The Voice Of The Lord Jesus, and therefore, put into practice His Commandments of love.

” “Then The King will say to those on His Right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father; take your inheritance, The kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I Was Hungry and you gave Ne something to eat, I Was Thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I Was A Stranger and you invited Me in, I needed clothes and you clothed Me, I Was Sick and you looked after Me, I Was in prison and you came to visit Me.’” Matthew 25:34-36

The Lord Jesus shows us that those who listen to His Voice care for the needy (the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, prisoners, etc …). The Lord Jesus identified Himself with our neighbor. So when we do good or evil to our neighbor, it is as if we were doing it to The Lord Jesus. We must therefore pay attention to how we treat our neighbor and put into practice The Commandments Of The Lord Jesus, Who asks us to love one another.

” “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.’ ” Matthew 25:40
