MATTHEW 24 – PERSEVERANCE

“But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:13

In Matthew 24, The Lord Jesus teaches us that it is the one who stands firm to the end who will be saved. Perseverance is an important characteristic that the Christian must have. To be saved after receiving Christ in our lives, we must continue to nourish ourselves with His Word on a regular basis and walk according to His teachings until the end of our lives. If we turn away from God’s Way after believing, and decide to walk again in the ways of the world, we will not be saved.

“How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled The Son Of God Underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing The Blood of The Covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted The Spirit of Grace?” Hebrews 10,29

“But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.” Ezekiel 18:24

Let us try to stand firm in our Christian walk. Let us remain in God’s Word and put It into practice until the end of our lives and we will receive the crown of life !!!
