“Abram believed The Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.” Genesis 15:6
In Genesis 15, The Lord said to Abram that his heir would be his own flesh and blood, and that his offpring would be as many as the stars in the sky. Despite his old age and that of his wife, Abram believed in The Promise Of The Lord, and The Lord regarded him as just because of his faith.
The world in which we live is a world where we walk by senses: we must see, touch, feel, taste, hear in order to believe. But in the spiritual world, logic is different; The Wisdom Of God is different from that of men. In the spiritual world, we must walk by faith; like Abram, we must believe with certainty what we do not see, even if it does not seem logical from the human standpoint.
It is important for us to cultivate our faith. Because in His Plan for Humankind, God wanted us to obtain Salvation, to be justified through faith. The Lord Jesus certainly did The Salvation Work on the Cross, but only those who believe, those who have faith in this Work, will be saved.
