PSALM 12 – MORAL CORRUPTION

“Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts.
May The Lord silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue” Psalm 12:2-3

“You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race.” Psalm 12:7-8

In Psalm 12, King David complains about moral corruption : lies, duplicity of heart, wickedness and vileness reign among men. This is the reign established by the devil and not by God. Today, we live in a world marked by moral depravity, good values are degrading and giving way to lies, greed, selfishness, injustice, hatred, etc …
In such a world, let’s learn to stand out by choosing to live under The Reign of God, which is a Kingdom of love, justice, mercy, truth, joy and peace.
