“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on The Day of Judgment than for you.” Matthew 11:21-22
In Matthew 11, The Lord Jesus denounced the towns in which He performed miracles, but they did not repent.
Today, these same criticisms apply to anyone who hears The Word Of God without being touched and does not repent. The greatest miracle occurred when The Lord Jesus conquered death; He Rose again after three days in the tomb. What more is needed? Whoever believes and repents will be saved, but woe to the one who listens to The Good News but refuses to repent. As The Lord Jesus said:
“Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of Me.” Matthew 11:6
