In Genesis 9, we see that God has subjected all the animals of the earth, the sea and sky to man and gave them to him as food. However, he has not allowed a man to shed the blood of another man because man was made in The Image Of God.
” And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.
“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed;
for in The Image Of God has God made mankind.” Genesis 9,5-6
Man is made in The Image Of God. We should always keep this in mind when we are interacting with others. No matter our age, race, and social status, we are all made in The Image Of God. So we should strive to respect and love one another. This applies to the rich director as well as the gatekeeper, the housewife, the seller, etc … The Lord Jesus shows us the importance of treating our neighbor well in Matthew 25:
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.’” Matthew 25:40

– The rainbow, the sign of the covenant between God and earth mentioned in Genesis 9 is nothing but the rainbow that each of us has probably already seen once in his/het life. Yet another tangible evidence of The Truth of The Word Of God.
– It is important to honor parents (one of the Commandments). In Genesis 9, Ham has disrespected his father by seeing him naked and then telling it to his brothers. In a result, Noah has cursed Canaan, Ham’s son.
