I continued my meditation on Matthew 7 under the theme “The God Who provides.”
“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:11
This is a continuation of Matthew 6, in which The Lord Jesus asked us not to worry about what we will eat, drink, and wear because our Heavenly Father knows that we need it.
Here, for better illustration, a comparison is made with parents and their children. We know how some parents know how to spoil their children. In this passage, The Lord tells us that if human parents who are not as good as The Heavenly Father give good things to their children, how much more will The Heavenly Father will do so for us.
So we Christians must keep faith at all times and never doubt about The Goodness Of God for His children.
