I read Genesis 3 in parallel with Romans 5 and I meditated on the theme “Condemned by the disobedience of the one man and saved by The Obedience Of The One Man”.

“To Adam He said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Genesis 3,17-19

Adam disobeyed God by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; and because of his disobedience, death was passed on to all men. All men inherited original sin.

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned” Romans 5:12

Because of original sin, the harmonious relationship between God and Adam (and his descendants, so all men) was broken.

“So The Lord God banished him from The Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.” Genesis 3:23

“For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s Abundant Provision of Grace and of The Gift of Righteousness reign in Life through The One Man, Jesus Christ!
Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also One Righteous Act resulted in Justification and Life for all people.
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through The Obedience of The One Man the many will be made righteous.” Romans 5:17-19

The Lord Jesus Came to restore the harmonious relationship between God and man. Through His Obedience, those who believe in Him obtain Eternal Life.
