I read Psalm 1 and I meditated on the theme “The way of the righteous.” This psalm clearly shows us that there are two paths: the path of the righteous and that of sinners.
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in The Law Of The LORD, and who meditates on His Law day and night.” Psalm 1:1-2
The righteous meditates on The Law of The Lord, and the perfect fulfillment of this Law is love, love Of God and love of neighbor.
A person who loves his neighbor is not wicked to him or does not mock him.
A person who loves God runs away from sin.
So we, Christians, must know that our choices determine the way we have chosen, either the way of the righteous, which is the way of love, or the way of the wicked and sinners.
And we should also remember that The Lord rewards those who choose the path of the righteous.
“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:3
